Cleaning up the Community

Posted on: Wed 10th October, 2018

This Saturday (13th October) our colleagues, along with lots of other members of the community will be supporting the Hereford Community Clean Up Group, and tidying the area, known as the "Hereford Lines".

The group, HCCUG for short, have organised the clean up to take place between The Belmont Road Bridge, and have asked people to get involved. The clean up will involve cutting back overgrown weeds on either side of the footpath, removing graffiti, litter picking and generally giving the area a fresh, clean, safe feel.

This area in particular residents nearby have complained about being extremely messy and so the group have decided to step in and help. The team involved incudes the HCCUG group, Herefordshire Council and BBLP. They are hoping to involved lots of local groups and community clubs, and we are helping too.

Some of our colleagues will be volunteering too, so we will hopefully see you there.
