Reporting a Repair

If your home needs repair work to be done by Herefordshire Housing, you should contact us as soon possible, using any of the following ways:

Telephoning (01432) 384124. Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:15pm and Friday: 8:30am - 4:45pm.
Report online via our online form. Your Repair request will be sent to our Repairs Customer Contact Centre, who will contact you to confirm they have received it and advise you if we can deal with it or ask you for more information.

Our Repairs Team

Herefordshire Housing is responsible for carrying out repairs to our residents homes. The repairs service manages the inspection and ordering of repairs to around 5,400 homes. The majority of maintenance and repair work is carried out by the Company’s own employees.

We have a dedicated team of people who are responsible for maintaining residents homes including, plumbers, carpenters, electricians, bricklayers and Corgi gas fitters.

We also have Grounds Maintenance Operatives who are responsible for maintaining parks, play areas, open spaces and communal areas belonging to Herefordshire Housing.

Although most repair requests are received within working hours we also operate an out of hours service to deal with genuine emergencies that may arise at any time of the day or night every day of the year. The Out of Hours EMERGENCY Repairs number is (01432) 352555.

We actively promote the importance of gas safety in our customer's homes and encourage residents to allow us access to carry out an annual gas safety check and service. We write to residents to let them know when the gas appliances in their homes need a safety check and service.
