Never too late to learn

It's never too late to learn! How often have we heard this? However, it is true and we, at Herefordshire Housing, want to provide new opportunities for our residents and people living within our communities to develop skills in areas that interest them and in ways that they want to learn.

We are currently asking people what sort of training they would be interested in. This could be anything like basic food hygiene, cookery, home DIY skills, decorating and gardening, computer skills, desk top publishing, how to use the internet, how to write a winning C.V., tips on how to succeed in job interviews, through to how to set up community groups and how to successfully bid for funding for community projects.

Once we know what people want, we will develop a whole learning programme and will be publicising this through our newsletter and website. Remember, it is NEVER too late to learn!
